Tasting Notes: Mad Cat Brewery Platinum Blonde

It’s all gone a bit Diana Dors (showing my age?) around here as our virtual micropub takes delivery of a cask of Meaney’s Platinum Blonde Pale Ale from Mad Cat Brewery.  Pale indeed, we think this brew is a playful, refreshing alternative to lagers for those who are taking their first nervous steps into the world of real ale.

There’s plenty going on though for the seasoned ale drinker with a good hoppy aroma and traces of citrus fruit.  We plan on enjoying this tasty brew throughout the summer and well into autumn.  What do you think?
